NRA CET Exam 2021 : Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dr. Jitendra said in a written reply in the Lok Sabha on Monday that the NRA is expected to conduct the Common Eligibility Test (CET) from September 2021. What is a Common Eligibility Test?
Preliminary examination for various non-gazetted posts of the Central Government ,The Common Eligibility Test or CET is a substitution for the Tier-I examination The marks of NRA CET Exam 2021 will be applicable for selection of candidates for Group B and Group C posts in non-technical jobs and will be shared with all central government recruitment agencies. Candidates can attempt the examination till their final selection as there is no restriction for the number of attempts (even if the candidate has reached the maximum age limit).
Interested candidates now have to appear in the same preliminary examination for various non-technical posts.
What is NRA?
The National Recruitment Agency is a multi-agency which will be responsible for easing the recruitment processes. The NRA will conduct separate CETs for all three levels, namely undergraduate, secondary and matriculate candidates. NRA CET 2021: Exam Date Out
The central government of India is going to take a general preliminary examination for SSC, Railway , IBPS non-gazetted posts . The government has decided to conduct Common Eligibility Test (CET) in place of Preliminary Examination for all government departments. The score of the exam is used by various organizations to select candidates for the higher level examination for the selected candidates for the posts.
The test score will be valid for a period of three years and will be conducted twice a year. This is going to help all government candidates, as there will be no need to fill separate applications for different exams and they will have to prepare for the same exam now.

Which exams are to be embraced under NRA CET?
Currently, it has been decided to merge the NRA CET 2021 exam into the preliminary examination or Tier-1 examination for the three government agencies Staff Selection Commission (SSC), RRB (Railway Recruitment Board), and Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). is. Preliminary examinations for these organizations are included in the same general eligibility test. Since the NRA will act as a screening test to select candidates for the CET Phase-2 or Tier-2 examination. NRA CET Exam 2021 will replace RRB, Tier-1 examination conducted by SSC and examination conducted by IBPS. NRA CET for SSC
Every year SCC conducts examinations for all levels of candidates providing opportunities to work in the government sector at various levels. Every year lakhs of matriculation, secondary and graduate candidates are selected by SSC. As per the official announcement of the Union Cabinet, NRA CET will be offered next year to select candidates in TRA-1 and CET marks will be valid for selection of TET-2 examination. All Tier-1 exams for SSC recruitment will now be replaced by a single CET and selection for Tier-2 examination will be entirely based on CET score.
NRA CET for Railways
NRA CET will also be conducted for Group B and Group C non-technical posts in the Railway Department. Candidates who have passed NRA CET will be eligible for Tier-2 and Tier-3 examination for Group B and Group C posts in Railways. NRA CET 2021 will be conducted in place of RRB NTPC and RRB Group D examinations.
The posts covered under NTPC examination include Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Commercial Apprentice, Junior Time Keeper, Train Clerk, Junior Clerk Less Typist, Senior Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist. The posts under Grade-D examination are Helper, Track Maintainer, Gateman, Porter Assistant, Porter, Hospital Attendant and Pointsman.
NRA CET for Bank Examination
The Personnel Selection Institute is one of the largest organization bodies which conducts various bank exams every year and lakhs of candidates appear in those examinations. Now after the introduction of NRA CET Exam 2021, candidates will not have to appear for different preliminary examinations for different banking jobs. The CET score will be counted as the prelims score and will be applicable for the IBPS Bank exam. The candidates will not have to waste their time to appear in the separate prelims exam.
NRA CET for 10th pass candidates
Candidates applying for any SSC or Railway job after 10th pass will have to clear the Common Eligibility Test. For 10th level candidates, the exam will be conducted separately with a different syllabus. This is a golden opportunity for the 10th pass candidates and this will save their time. For the banking sector, there should be a graduate education level, which any candidate must have before applying for the bank examination. There are job offers which a graduate candidate can also find in SSC and Railway Department. Depending on the level of education, a separate syllabus will be issued for undergraduate candidates and a separate CET will be conducted for candidates applying after graduation.
