Apple has released several operating systems for its computers to date. These began as system software until 2001 or are now known as Classic Mac OS. Then “Mac OS X” by 2021, OS X by 2016, and finally renamed to macOS until now. So many users are confused about macOS versions named after big cats, and recently they have been named after places in California. So let’s look at all the Apple Mac OS (macOS) operating system versions in order today.
