Here, we have mentioned the KCET 2021 exam pattern. It contains details about the type of questions, weightage, examination mode etc. Detailed exam pattern are given below:
Exam Mode: KCET exam will be conducted through offline mode (pen and paper based test).
Syllabus: Candidates will get admission in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy and other science courses.
Subject: Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects. Candidates have to select only one of the Mathematics and Biology subjects.
Question Type: In this exam, objective type questions will be asked from each subject.
Exam duration: Candidates will have a total of 80 minutes for each section. The examination will be conducted in various sessions, namely morning session (10:30 am to 11:50 pm) and afternoon session (2:30 pm to 3:50 pm).
Language of question paper: Questions will be asked in English language. Students will also have the option to choose Kannada language.
Writing mode: Students will only use black or blue ball point pens to mark their answers.
Marking Scheme: For each correct answer One mark will be given .
Negative Marking: In this exam There will be no negative marking. In case of more than one answer for each question, wrong answer will be considered.
Additional exam: agricultural practical test (for agricultural candidates) and Language test (for Bangalore candidates only). Section wise question load
