ABOUT NCHM:

For Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) , An autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is The National Council . Council B.Sc. Which are offered to the affiliated 21 Central Hotel Management Institutes, 19 State Government Hotel Management Institutes,
Hospitality and Hotel Administration and nine other structured courses of study 01 Public Sector Undertakings and 14 Private Hotel Management Institutes. In addition, 9 Food Craft Institutes located in different parts of the country offer diploma programs in core operational areas. All institutions follow standardized curriculum syllabi prescribed by the Council for various professional programs.

Eligibility for admission for NCHM JEE Application:

Preliminary examination:

Passed in 10 + 2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. the candidate should have passed English (core / elective / functional) as a subject , In the qualifying examination, . Those appearing in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2021 on provisional basis.

Provisional admission will be canceled if proof of passing the practical examination (10 + 2 or its equivalent) is not presented at the time of counseling or at the time of admission or latest by 30.09.2021. Admission is offered at the time of verification of original certificates / documents. If a candidate is found unfit at a later date even after admission in an institution, his / her admission will be canceled.

Age Range for NCHM JEE Application:

The upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2020 , For general and OBC categories candidates. After July 01, 1995 are eligible or Candidates born on. The upper age limit is 28 years as on 01.07.2020 In case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates. after 01 July 1992 are eligible born SC / ST candidates. The upper age limit for physically challenged candidates will be according to the category that they fall under General / EWS / SC / ST / OBC. The date of birth recorded in the Board of Secondary Education / Pre-University Certificate will be authentic proof which will be accepted. At the time of counseling, this certificate should be originally submitted as proof of age, failing that the candidate will not be considered for counseling / admission.
